I grew up in San Diego, a total beach kid. I played sports throughout my childhood, from soccer to baseball to flag football. But my true loves were basketball and volleyball, and I played both at a varsity level until I graduated from high school. From there, I endured a huge change of scenery, attending the University of California at Santa Barbara. I really struggled there, having to study for finals with my toes in the sand, or spend every Friday and Saturday night walking with friends to a house party.
After graduation, I started my career in marketing. I have spent time in collegiate athletics, publishing, healthcare, insurance, outdoor retail, banking, technology and military contracting. I love all aspects of marketing and can’t wait to see where the next few years take me.
The best part of my life has been meeting my wife and growing our family with three amazing kids. She and I met in a chatroom on America Online. How’s that for a total 90s/early 2000s love story?! We’ve since moved to the mountains of Utah, and now we enjoy exploring all that Salt Lake City has to offer.
